Web & Digital Innovation
What we do
We design and build digital products and experiences that serve science-driven organizations from first website to post-IPO rebuild — and well beyond the website. Our work spans corporate web presence, knowledge and data portals, conference and exhibit technology, and novel digital interfaces that meet audiences where they are. It is technically precise, strategically informed, and shaped by deep familiarity with the expectations of biotech, pharma, global health, and deep tech audiences. We bring design strategy to the digital layer — meaning every interface does deliberate work, not just decorative work.
Services
Corporate website design & strategy
We design corporate websites for science-driven organizations at every stage of growth — from a startup’s first public-facing presence to a growth-stage company preparing for a Series B or strategic partnership, to the inflection point just before enterprise scale. We understand the distinct communication requirements at each stage and design accordingly.
For early-stage companies, we build sites that establish credibility fast. For growth-stage organizations, we design for the complexity that comes with expanding pipelines, teams, and audiences. For companies bridging toward enterprise — where the science is mature, the stakeholder map is wide, and the site needs to perform across investor, partner, regulatory, and public contexts simultaneously — we bring the strategic and design depth that moment demands. We work up to that threshold; for organizations that have crossed into full enterprise infrastructure, we’ll be direct about where we can add the most value and where other partners may serve you better.
We also design for global health organizations — programs that must communicate across multiple geographies, languages, and levels of scientific literacy, often to very different audiences at once.
Knowledge portals & information systems
Designed environments for organizing and surfacing complex scientific, clinical, or programmatic information — for internal teams, partner networks, or public audiences. This includes disease education portals, clinical evidence libraries, program knowledge hubs, and stakeholder resource platforms. The design challenge here is as much information architecture as it is visual: we make complex bodies of knowledge navigable, credible, and useful.
Data & research portals
Interfaces for communicating data outputs, research findings, and program metrics to specialized and non-specialist audiences. We design for scientific rigor and communication clarity simultaneously — dashboards, interactive data displays, and research platforms that make complexity legible without flattening it. Particularly relevant for global health programs, research consortia, and data-driven biotech platforms communicating results to funders, regulators, or the public.
Conference & exhibit interactive technology
Touch interactive screens, kiosk experiences, and large-format digital exhibits for conferences, tradeshows, and permanent installations. We design and build experiences that work in high-traffic, high-noise environments — where you have seconds to capture attention and a limited window to communicate something genuinely complex. This ranges from single-screen interactive product explainers to multi-surface exhibit environments. It is some of the most demanding digital design work we do, and it shows in the output.
Novel digital interfaces & emerging formats
We are actively designing for the interfaces that don’t have established templates yet — immersive science communication environments, AI-assisted knowledge tools, spatial and sensor-driven experiences, and other emerging formats where science content and digital technology intersect in new ways. For clients who want to lead rather than follow in how their science reaches audiences, this is where we work together to build toward what’s next.
Digital strategy & UX consulting
Strategic input before or alongside execution — audience mapping, user research, information architecture, and digital content strategy for organizations that need to think carefully before they build.
Who this is for
Biotech and pharma companies preparing for a financing event, a product launch, or a corporate rebrand. Global health organizations and foundations communicating program impact and mobilizing partners and funders. Synbio and AI-bio startups establishing a first professional digital presence. Organizations with complex science that needs to be communicated clearly to audiences with very different relationships to that science.
