Lead Brand Strategist

Leisha Muraki holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from the University of Washington, and completed her Master of Education at RMIT University with a focus on undergraduate design education and instructional learning. She believes that in a knowledge-driven society, how we create, share, and use information demands thoughtful, effective design. Her work bridges visual communication, design thinking, and human-centered innovation across brand strategy, integrated marketing, and storytelling.

An award-winning designer and brand strategist, Leisha brings over 15 years of global experience across three continents. She has a strong track record in venture formation and go-to-market strategy in the education, healthcare, hospitality, and financial sectors. At Cognition Studio, she leads brand platform development and complex program strategy—translating scientific and technical concepts into clear, audience-driven narratives through systems design, data visualization, and creative leadership.

As an educator and thought leader, Leisha has lectured in undergraduate and graduate design programs at Holmesglen Institute, RMIT University, and the Singapore Institute of Management. She regularly speaks on liberatory design and trauma-informed, restorative practices. In 2022, she returned to the University of Washington as a Guest Lecturer in both the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering.
