Claire Chen

Claire is a product/ux focused designer with a passion for creating seamless, intuitive digital experiences. With a background in user experience (UX) and interactive design, she brings a strategic and human-centered approach to her work. She holds a Master of Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Design in Interaction Design from the University of Washington.

Before joining Cognition Studio, Claire honed her skills at a stealth startup, Wellell medical equipment innovator, and TCL Industries, where she designed digital interfaces that enhance usability and engagement. At Cognition, she blends problem-solving with elegant ux strategy with design innovation, transforming information into functional solutions.

Claire has built strengths by finding the space between technology and design—navigating ambiguity, embracing challenges, and focusing on her passions. She joined Cognition because she wants to work in a space that values both intention and aesthetics, and more importantly, create work that makes a meaningful difference.
