Animation & Motion Brand Identity & Design Systems Communications, Writing & PR Digital Engagement & Websites Science Visualizations

The static record of your science, made legible enough to persuade and precise enough to defend.

A figure carries weight that prose cannot. It is what a reviewer studies, what an investor screenshots, what a regulator returns to.

What we do

When the science is complex, a single well-built visual can move a decision that a page of explanation cannot.

We build that work at the intersection of two disciplines that rarely sit together: board-certified medical illustrators and PhD-level scientists and writers, side by side. Every visual is scientifically defensible before it is beautiful, and every one is made for a specific audience at a specific moment, to move a specific decision forward. This is the static estate, from raw data to publication-ready figure. When the science needs to move, that is Animation & Motion, and the two are built to work as one system.

Services

01

Data visualization & scientific figures

Charts, graphs, and quantitative displays built for scientific rigor and communication clarity at once. We work with complex, multi-variable datasets and produce figures that make the science legible without flattening it, for publications, grant applications, investor materials, and regulatory submissions.

02

Pipeline visualization

Visual representations of a therapeutic or platform pipeline for investor materials, corporate sites, and congress communications. Built to convey progress, differentiation, and opportunity to audiences that range from specialist scientists to generalist investors, without either losing the plot.

03

Infographics & visual abstracts

Distilled research summaries and visual abstracts for science journalism, congress materials, global health communications, and public-facing platforms. The work of making a dense finding graspable in a single, credible frame.

04

Strategic data visualization for decision-making

For global health and research organizations, data visualization that is built to be acted on. We retain the nuance in the data while crystallizing the takeaway, so a busy decision-maker reaches the right conclusion faster and with more confidence.

Who this is for

Biotech and pharma teams

Preparing investor materials, regulatory filings, or scientific publications.

Global health organizations

Turning research findings and program outcomes into something audiences with very different scientific fluency can read.

Discovery-stage and platform companies

Making novel technology legible for partners and funders.

Teams whose figures lag their data

Any team whose data is strong and whose figures are not yet doing it justice.

The moments we're built for

Static visualization earns its place at specific inflection points.

See Moments: when to bring us in

A fundraise or partnership where the figures have to survive diligence.

A clinical readout that needs its data framed with precision.

A new discovery whose significance is still trapped in the lab.

A public health crisis where the picture has to stay legible while it keeps changing.

Common questions

What counts as science visualization?

The static estate: data visualization and scientific figures, pipeline and portfolio graphics, visual abstracts, and strategic data visualization built to be acted on. When the mechanism has to move, that is Animation & Motion.

Who actually draws it?

Board-certified medical illustrators working alongside PhD scientists and science writers. The biology is settled before the figure is designed, not corrected after.

Can these figures go into a publication or a submission?

Yes. We build for journals, grant applications, investor materials, and regulatory submissions, with MLR and regulatory review anticipated in the annotation and the file structure rather than bolted on at the end.

What do you need from us to start?

Your primary data, the paper or protocol behind it, and the one decision the figure has to support. If the numbers are still moving, we start with the argument and build the figure to accept the final data.

The data is strong. Let’s make the figures match.
