Maureen McLennon
Maureen is a graduate of the University of Washington’s School of Art, Division of Design, with a BDes in Interaction Design and a minor in Anthropology. At UW, she focused her studies on research methods in user experience design, particularly in the areas of workplace surveillance and peer support for depression and anxiety. Her senior capstone, Unspoken, was featured in the 2017 UW Design show. She extended her education through a typography class with instructor Jeff Barlow at the School of Visual Concepts. Her final project, a book of Johnny Cash lyrics, won a Seattle chapter ADDY award.
Prior to joining Cognition, Maureen honed her information design skills with an economics consulting firm, where she collaborated with economists, planners and developers to design digital and print data visualizations.
